Brandon Academy Ownership

OUR OWNERSHIP TEAM

Steady leadership. A shared vision.

Robert and Dr. Tricia Rudolph have spent decades helping shape Brandon Academy around a simple belief: students should be challenged, supported, known personally, and genuinely enjoy coming to school.

Their leadership combines deep educational experience with hands-on stewardship of the school. They have taught here, led here, expanded programs and facilities, and helped build the close-knit culture our students and families experience every day.

EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP

Robert Rudolph

Robert Rudolph joined Brandon Academy in 1995 after beginning his teaching career in Louisiana. He first served as a science teacher, became Middle School Principal in 1999, and in 2005 became Head of School and Co-Owner alongside Dr. Tricia Rudolph.

Robert holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Southeastern Louisiana University and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from the University of Alabama. During his career, he has taught science, social studies, and history across middle and high school grade levels.

His work as an educator has earned recognition from Huntington Learning Center, Duke University, and Wal-Mart. At Brandon Academy, Robert has also coached football and basketball and coordinated the school’s Washington, D.C. trip for more than 20 years.

EDUCATION & SCHOOL LEADERSHIP

Dr. Tricia Rudolph

Dr. Tricia Rudolph joined Brandon Academy as Co-Owner in 2005, bringing a background in psychology, student support, and school leadership. She earned her bachelor’s degree in experimental psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University and later completed graduate work at the University of South Florida, including an Educational Specialist degree and a Ph.D. in School Psychology.

Before joining Brandon Academy, Tricia worked with students as a school psychologist in both private practice and Hillsborough County public schools. Her experience gave her a strong understanding of how students learn, where they struggle, and the kind of support they need to grow.

At Brandon Academy, Tricia has helped lead major milestones in the school’s development, including campus expansion, high school growth, and International Baccalaureate authorization in 2017. She has also served as High School Principal, business manager, and testing specialist.

A PERSONAL CONNECTION

A family invested in the school’s future.

For Robert and Tricia, Brandon Academy has been far more than a professional responsibility. It has been a major part of their lives, their family, and their community for decades.

That long-term perspective shapes how they lead today. Their goal is to preserve what makes Brandon Academy special while continuing to strengthen the school for the students and families who will come next.
