A MESSAGE FROM OUR HEAD OF SCHOOL

A school where relationships come first.

Dear Parents,

Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions your family will make. From the moment I arrived at Brandon Academy, I recognized something special: relationships are at the heart of the educational experience.

We believe students learn best when they are truly known. Our teachers take the time to understand how each child learns, what challenges them, what excites them, and where their strengths are beginning to emerge. That understanding allows us to challenge students academically while helping them grow in confidence, character, and independence.

Just as important, we want students to enjoy being here. A successful school should be filled with curiosity, conversation, collaboration, and the feeling that something interesting might happen today.

I invite you to visit our campus, meet our teachers and students, and experience that culture for yourself.

THE BRANDON ACADEMY EXPERIENCE

Known, challenged, and supported.

At Brandon Academy, students are known as individuals. Our teachers, advisers, counselors, and coaches work together to understand who each student is and who they aspire to become.

We encourage students to ask meaningful questions, share their ideas, and approach challenges with resilience and optimism. This personalized guidance helps them grow into knowledgeable, skilled, creative, and compassionate problem-solvers.

Community

Our students learn in a welcoming, close-knit community where relationships and a sense of belonging matter.

Integrity

Our Honor Code and character education program encourage students to make thoughtful, responsible choices—even when doing so is difficult.

Respect

We teach students to value themselves, appreciate others, and contribute positively to their school and wider community.
MORE THAN ACADEMICS

Learning that extends beyond the classroom.

Beginning with our three-year-old preschool program, students across all grade levels are challenged, encouraged, and cared for on Brandon Academy’s beautiful 10-acre campus.

Our academic program is strengthened through experiential learning, character education, service opportunities, athletics, arts, clubs, and other activities that help students discover their interests and develop new abilities.

These experiences give students opportunities to discover new interests, develop abilities they may not have known they possessed, and learn how to work confidently with others.

PREPARING STUDENTS FOR WHAT COMES NEXT

Learning how to learn.

We cannot predict every challenge our students will face after they leave Brandon Academy. We can teach them how to approach one. Our students learn to ask questions, solve problems, communicate their ideas, collaborate with others, and keep going when the first answer doesn’t work. Academic knowledge matters. So does knowing how to think. Our goal is for students to leave Brandon Academy with both—and with the curiosity to continue learning long after graduation.
From Sarah

I hope you’ll come see Brandon Academy for yourself.

There is only so much a website can show you about a school. The relationships between our teachers and students, the conversations happening in our classrooms, and the energy of our campus are best experienced in person.

I am proud to lead this community, and I would be delighted to welcome your family to Brandon Academy.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our school. I hope to see you on campus soon.
