Kindergarten at Brandon Academy is an active, engaging year where students build strong academic foundations while learning how to work together, solve problems, and become more confident learners.
Throughout the year, students explore language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies through hands-on lessons, discussion, creative activities, and meaningful classroom experiences.
Kindergarten students learn best when they can participate. Our classrooms give students opportunities to explore ideas, ask questions, create, practice new skills, and work together.
Each day combines academic learning with discovery and creativity, helping students build confidence while developing the habits they will carry into the grades ahead.
Kindergarten students also participate in weekly physical education, music, art, and Spanish classes.
These experiences give students additional opportunities to move, create, communicate, and discover new interests beyond their core classroom lessons.
